2538 COUPLE NAMED (exc)
 vintage playing cards depicting 2 scenes by artist GEORGES SCHREIBER: "Noon Time" on one , and "In Texas" on the other. NOON TIME: The peace and drowsiness of a pause in the day's work in the heat of the day is felt in this picture by Georges Schreiber. a master artist has shown a phase of farm life as he found it in a truly realistic manner. Schreiber has achieved wide-spread recognition by museums. He was the winner of the Tuthill Prize of the International Exhibition of Water Colors at the Chicago Art Institute. Schreiber is also permanently represented in the collections of the Whitney Museum, Metropolitan Museum, Syracuse Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Museum of the City of New York, Sheldon Swope Art Gallery of Terre Houte, Indiana, and others. IN TEXAS: The Virility and vigor of Georges Schreiber's artistic skill is forcibly portrayed by the swift, sweeping motion in this painting of a round-up in Texas. The swinging lariat, the rolling hat, the rearing horse, and the movement of the horses blend the whole canvas into one great surge of energy. CARD CONDITIONS :
I have tried to describe the cards as close as I can to
there condition, but most vintage cards although not used
do wear, the gold tarnishes and black border mark easy .
YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THE DESCRIPTION UNDER CARD IMAGE AND
DESCRIPTION ABOUT CARDS CONDITION MAY DIFFER. I HAVE LOOKED AT EVERY LOT OF
CARDS AND HAVE RE-EVALUATED THEM WHILE LISTING.
MY ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION UNDER IMAGE WAS DONE WHEN I ONLY GRADED EXCELLENT,
VERY GOOD OR GOOD .
MOST OF MY CARDS ARE EXCELLENT OR BETTER AND WILL BE DESCRIBED ACCORDINGLY.

Part Decks (PD) are LIMITED NUMBER LEFT in STOCK and some
LIMITED STOCK CARDS only a few may have small writing on the number side of card,the cards are like new, but have card description written on number (pip) side, does not detract from card picture.
Mint (M)- 10/10 Never used straight from SEALED deck.
Near Mint (NM) - 9/10, Like New not used but I didn't open deck.
Excellent (EX) - 7-8/10 , Older cards mostly not used, still in great condition.
Very Good (VG) -5-6/10, Fine to above average condition, show minor wear and age.
Good (G)- 3-4/10-No tears, may have small corner crease but clearly show indications of wear and age.
Fair (F) - 1-2/10, Shows clear indications of age, heavily worn & under average condition.
